Talking about sexuality and faith can feel like walking into a storm. Some people use it to throw stones, others use it to water down God’s Word. I want to do neither. I am not here to shame anyone. I am here to share scripture on homosexuality, scripture on transgender identities, and to dive into the Lords word on God and gay relationships to encourage repentance (because we all need it), and to remind us that God’s love is big enough to cover every sin.

This post is for anyone who struggles with same-sex attraction, confusion about gender, or for those who have made up their minds to hate those people. Let’s slow down, open the Word together, and remember who we serve.


What the Bible Says

The Bible is not silent on this topic. In Romans 1:26–27 (KJV), Paul writes:

“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.”

That is clear. God created man and woman for each other, not for same-sex intimacy. Genesis 1:27 reminds us of His design:

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.”

And 1 Corinthians 6:9–10 (KJV) includes this:

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

It is not only homosexuality or gender confusion that is called sin here. Greed, adultery, drunkenness, and lying are right there alongside it. Sin is sin, and the Bible says all of us fall short.


Repentance and Hope

Here is the part many people miss: Paul continues in 1 Corinthians 6:11 (KJV):

“And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

This is not about pointing fingers. It is about pointing to Christ. God’s mercy covers every sin. The key is repentance. To repent is to turn away from sin and turn toward God.

1 John 1:9 (KJV) says:

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

That promise is for everyone. No one is too far gone.


Loving Our Bodies, God’s Design

We live in a time where people are told they can change their identity, their gender, their very design. But Genesis 1:27 reminds us: God created us male and female in His image. That is not a mistake.

Psalm 139:14 (KJV) says:

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”

Our bodies are gifts, temples of the Holy Spirit. Loving God means respecting His design and trusting that He knew what He was doing when He created us.


A Word for Christians Who Condemn

If you are a believer who uses scripture as a weapon to hate and shame people, pause. That is not what Jesus called us to do. Matthew 7:1 (KJV) says:

“Judge not, that ye be not judged.”

That does not mean we cannot stand on truth. It means we do not stand in the judgment seat that belongs to God alone. Our job is to share the gospel with love, to guide others toward truth, and to pray for hearts to be softened. Hatred is not holy. Love is.


A Message for Those Who Struggle

If you are reading this and struggling with your sexuality or identity, hear me: You are not unloved. You are not hopeless. You are not alone. God sees you, and He has not turned His back on you.

Sin does not have to define you. God’s forgiveness and grace are greater than any desire or mistake. Repentance may not be easy, and the road may be hard, but His Word promises strength and freedom in Him.

John 8:36 (KJV) says:

“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

That freedom is available for you.


Conclusion

The Bible is clear about sin, including homosexuality and rejecting God’s design for our bodies. But the Bible is also clear about grace, mercy, and love. We are all sinners. We all need repentance. And we all need Jesus.

Let us hold truth in one hand and love in the other. May we never compromise what the Word says, but may we also never forget that every single one of us is saved only by grace. God does not call us to throw stones. He calls us to share the truth with compassion, to love as He loved, and to guide others toward the freedom only found in Him.
